natural language processing and artificial intelligence. Dan has developed significant
expertise in all phases of the system development lifecycle and in a broad range
of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, government, retail,
gas and oil production, power generation, and education. Dan is the author of Proven
Portals, (Addison Wesley, 2003) and Document Warehousing and Text Mining (Wiley,
2001); a columnist with DM Review and has published over 25 articles in leading
industry publications such as Intelligent Enterprise and e-Business Advisor. He
is a contributing author to Text Mining and Its Applications (WIT, 2003) and Business
Intelligence and the Digital Economy (Idea Group Publishing, 2003). In addition,
